One-Time Security Codes
Broadridge, as a transfer agent, strives to provide the most secure environment for shareholders to view and manage their shares via our Shareholder Portal. On Friday, August 23, 2019, at approximately 5:30PM Eastern Time, Broadridge implemented a new security protocol associated with shareholder logins. This protocol included a one-time code requirement that was issued to shareholders via e-mail upon attempting to access their accounts from unknown devices. E-mails were issued at the time shareholders attempted to access their accounts through the Shareholder Portal once this new update was applied.
Several accounts were issued security code e-mails without shareholders attempting to access their accounts directly from our shareholder portal log-in page. Instead, access to the accounts was attempted by log-in through account aggregation services, budgeting, or finance management applications such as Mint (Intuit), Yodlee (USAA), eMoney Advisors, and Fiserv in order to view the respective account’s information and obtain totals/values for linked accounts. Please note that a new security code may be issued each time that these account aggregation, budgeting, or finance management applications attempt to access your account with Broadridge which may cause multiple e-mails to be issued to you. Because of this security feature on our Shareholder Portal, you may no longer be able to import information for your holdings with Broadridge into these services. We recommend contacting your service provider to determine if this is applicable to you.
If you received an email with a security code, we would like to assure you that this e-mail was generated due to the new security implementation.
Should you have any additional questions regarding the e-mail received or require assistance accessing your account via our shareholder portal, please do not hesitate to contact us at any time.
